Within the scope of urban transformation, especially in buildings that are considered to pose a risk, if one of the floor owners receives a risky building report, the floor owners may decide to reinforce it by providing the 4/5 ratio according to the condominium law. If the 4/5 ratio cannot be achieved in order to make the building earthquake resistant, the building reinforcement consent, which is to the advantage of the owners, can be obtained by court decision by filing a determination case.

The reinforcement report, reinforcement projects and calculations to be prepared for the court decision can be submitted to the court in the legal process. When making a reinforcement decision, the area losses, if any, are taken into consideration in the new zoning status of the building. The ratio of reinforcement cost to reconstruction cost should not exceed 40%.
